We serve our spiritual home and community by tending the labyrinth through weeding, mulching, planting flowers, and maintaining a safe place for people, animals, and nature to live in harmony.

The Labyrinth Ministry meets on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9:30 – 11:30 am. We offer many opportunities for creating harmony through service. A two-hour commitment monthly brings great joy as you nurture the soul and explore the gifts of the labyrinth.

We offer guidelines for ceremonies, workshops, and meditative walks. The Labyrinth Ministry facilitates a Labyrinth Walk & Meditation on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2:30 – 4:00 pm, with a different meditative focus each month. You are invited to join the Facebook group Unity North Atlanta Labyrinth Ministry & Friends for additional information.

Our group enjoys frequent travel and picnics to local labyrinths in Georgia.

The Sacred Path of the Labyrinth

  • Prepare to walk by slowing your breath. Quiet the mind and open yourself to possibilities. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to walk the labyrinth.
  • This is an inward journey of the Soul.
  • Begin by talking at your own pace.
  • Walk the inward path to the center.
  • As you walk, release any worries or concerns. You might feel led to pause in a certain area. You are welcome to do this and when ready, continue walking. Remember to be gentle with yourself along the way.
  • When reaching the center, allow yourself time to pause, be still and listen, become present to the now moment and move from the head (thinking) to the heart (knowing).
  • When you feel ready, begin walking back the way you came in. The return journey is part of the Labyrinth Walk. Be open to receive.
  • Reflect on the journey.

The Labyrinth is a Spiritual Teacher for many people. You might want to keep a Labyrinth Journal. Spiritual Teachings are important and will be easy to recall when they have been recorded.

The Labyrinth is a sacred and reflective space for everyone. Please be kind and patient when you are walking with others.
