Kirtan Chanting
Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting from India that uses a call-and-response vocal style and vibrant rhythms to raise divine energy and transform consciousness. Ian Boccio and Shonali Bannerjee will lead the group in a series of chants in both Sanskrit and English that will give everyone a taste of transcendent bliss. The audience is strongly encouraged to join in and truly experience the chants by actually vocalizing them along with the music. Between the chants, Ian will offer teachings that explain the meaning of the mantras and the nature of the deity energies that we are connecting to.

In the rhythm wave we use FLOWING to find our way in to embodiment. STACCATO connects us to our heart & how we move our heart into the world. CHAOS teaches us surrender, to let go of what no longer serves so that we can be our wild and free self which brings us gorgeously to LYRICAL where we experience ourself anew, lighter, immersed in a sense of possibility. We distil all of this in STILLNESS, settling into the heart-full peace we danced into being, lingering in our creative empowered essence. This and so many endless versions and iterations are what it’s like to ride a 5Rhythms wave.

Sara Dochterman
Use of the Labyrinth for Self-Care
The labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool that is thousands of years old, and walked by millions of people of all cultures and traditions. The labyrinth is not a maze, as it has no wrong turns or dead ends. Rather it is a puzzle to be solved. It is used as a walking prayer, a walking meditation, with only one path to the center. During this experience, participants will be introduced to the labyrinth as a tool for self-care and invited to walk. Participants will have an opportunity to share with the group about their experience. For those who are unable to walk comfortably or prefer not to, hand labyrinths will be available to “walk” with a finger or stylus.

The Sound immersion is simple: You are here to relax and receive acoustic sound therapy. There will be a brief moment to ask questions for those new to such an experience. We will ease into our nesting spaces. Then, the immersion will begin. Carolyn Purvis
Gentle Restorative Yoga
Be prepared to deeply relax, and restore. A perfect combination of physically and energetically releasing tension, with the help of a healing sound bath, led by Michael Burke, VST. This class is mainly done on the floor. (perfect for any level of experience.) It can be modified by use of a chair if the person is willing. Please bring a yoga mat or thick beach towel, and a water bottle. Non-slip socks, strap, blocks are helpful.
Slow Flow Yoga
Guided by the rhythms of Michael Burke VST, you will be led through an energetic yoga flow class, hallmarked with simple movements and powerful breathing techniques. Rest and meditation at the end of the class will leave you feeling relaxed, yet truly alive! An experience you don’t want to miss. (some experience helpful, must able to get up and down from the floor or be willing to modify with the use of a chair). Please bring a yoga mat or thick beach towel, and a water bottle. Walking a Sacred Path
In this moving, meditative labyrinth walk, Debbie will offer guidelines and suggestions for walking the labyrinth while enhancing one’s knowledge of the labyrinth and discovering a tool for inner growth. Attendees will experience the natural elements and the sounds of nature during the walk, a meditation on inner peace, and following the walk journaling spiritual insights and visions. Journaling is optional. The labyrinth experience encourages nurturing body, mind, and spirit through the three stages of the walk: Releasing (Letting Go), Receiving (Listening), and Returning (Reflecting). Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners
In this experiential workshop Gregg will lead mindfulness and metta (lovingkindness for oneself and others) meditations. Suggestions for how to practice or strengthen these meditations will be offered. The purpose and benefits of both kinds of meditation will be discussed. Dialog with participants in the form of questions and comments is most welcome.
Mindfulness Meditation for Experienced Practitioners
This second workshop will be for more experienced practitioners of meditation. In this experiential workshop Gregg will lead mindfulness and metta (lovingkindness for oneself and others) meditations. Suggestions on how to strengthen and deepen these practices, as well as how to practice their benefits in our everyday lives will be offered. Dialog with participants in the form of questions and comments is most welcome.
About Gregg
Gregg has practiced mindfulness meditation since learning it from Ram Dass and Jack Kornfield at retreats in the early ‘80s. He also learned mindfulness meditation in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, attending retreats at Magnolia Grove Monastery, as well as Spirit Rock, Southern Dharma and the Insight Meditation Center. Gregg leads the meditations at the 9am service at Unity North. With a doctorate in Human Development, before recently retiring his career involved substance abuse prevention and treatment.

In the rhythm wave we use FLOWING to find our way in to embodiment. STACCATO connects us to our heart & how we move our heart into the world. CHAOS teaches us surrender, to let go of what no longer serves so that we can be our wild and free self which brings us gorgeously to LYRICAL where we experience ourself anew, lighter, immersed in a sense of possibility. We distill all of this in STILLNESS, settling into the heart-full peace we danced into being, lingering in our creative empowered essence. This and so many endless versions & iterations are what it’s like to ride a 5Rhythms wave.

Julie has over two decades of experience as a consultant & facilitator of emergence who works with organizations and individuals to navigate complex change, imagine new ways of being and create strategies forward from collective wisdom using deep dialogue, large-scale visual mapping and embodiment practices. She designs and guides transformative workshops which explore the intersection of sensuality, intuition, art and movement. She is a certified teacher of the 5Rhythms created by Gabrielle Roth and of the Non-linear Movement method created by Michaela Boehm.

Hand and Foot Reflexology
Attendees will feel light pressure as the practitioner lightly presses into the different parts of the foot or hand as reflexology is performed. They may also feel some crunchiness or light pain, although this is rare, it may occur if there is stuck energy in a particular area. They will also feel relaxation and stress reduction from someone working on their feet.

Sue is a certified hand and foot reflexologist and studied with Roz Zollinger at Heal Center of Atlanta. She began studying different techniques for health and wellbeing and reflexology is one of those techniques. It became a passion and she believes that vibrant health is for everyone!
