Legacy Giving

LEGACY GIVING
• Legacy giving in Unity is sometimes called planned giving or deferred giving and refers to a future donation to support the ministry after a donor’s lifetime.
• It can be considered an extension of spiritual practice and stewardship.
• It is often established as an expression of gratitude for blessings received from the practice of Unity principles during life, and an alignment of one’s financial resources with their spiritual values – a tangible demonstration of the flow of abundance in our lives and an acknowledgment of the value of our spiritual community.

Help us keep the light lit for future generations by naming Unity North Atlanta Church as a Beneficiary for a specific amount, a percentage, or remainder once other beneficiaries are taken care of. Consider a Legacy gift in any of the following ways:

  • Retirement Account
  • Investment Account as a Transfer On Death (TOD)
  • Bank Account (Savings or Money Market) as Payable On Death (POD)
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
  • Donor Advised Funds

Please let our accounting office know of your plans (accountingoffice@unitynorth.org), and let us know if you need any assistance.
