Jesus knew what lay ahead. Many urged him to stay away, to avoid the danger, to choose the safer path. But this revolutionary of thought and truth was guided by something deeper—a calling not just to speak, but to transform the world. And that kind of calling demands immense spiritual strength and courage.

Yet in the garden, this courageous teacher offers a profoundly human prayer: “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me.” How many of us have whispered the same in our own way—I can’t do this… please make it go away. One of the greatest myths of spirituality is that awakening erases fear. The life of Jesus tells a different story. When we are called to release old patterns and step into something new, we feel all of our humanity even as we draw upon our deepest spiritual strength. After all, old habits don’t loosen their grip easily.

Join us this Palm Sunday as we explore what it means to feel the fear—and move forward anyway. Together, we’ll recognize that transformation, resurrection, and overcoming were already unfolding within Jesus long before he entered Jerusalem, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the week that would change the world. And so it is with us: as we release the old, we make space for something greater, something more powerful, to awaken within.
