Unity North Atlanta is transforming part of its 8.5-acre campus into a thriving Conservation Campus where nature, community, and spiritual renewal come together.
Through a five-year environmental stewardship initiative, areas of the campus will be restored with Georgia native plants, pollinator gardens, meadows, an orchard, edible gardens, and outdoor learning spaces. The vision is to create an oasis amid the surrounding urban landscape where people can reconnect with the natural world, learn about conservation, participate in hands-on restoration, and find renewal for the soul.
Led by Bruno Castellanos of Gaian Restoration Alliance, the initiative brings together Unity North Atlanta, Keep Cobb Beautiful, Conservation Landscaping, Ecosystem Services Solutions, Kennesaw State University, and dedicated community volunteers. Together, we are nurturing a healthier ecosystem while creating a welcoming space that will serve our congregation and the wider community for generations to come.
