At Unity North Atlanta, we believe spirituality should empower you, not diminish you. We are a community of spiritual seekers exploring what it means to live meaningful, connected, conscious lives. We come from many backgrounds, beliefs, traditions, and life experiences, yet we gather around a shared understanding: we are all connected, all sacred, and all capable of transformation.
This is church done differently.
For many people, traditional religion no longer fits. Some have been hurt by it. Some have outgrown rigid doctrines or narrow definitions of who belongs. Others still long for spiritual community, meaningful conversations, uplifting music, inspiring teachings, and people to walk through life with, but they’re looking for a different way.

A Metaphysical Lens
At Unity North Atlanta, we approach spirituality through a metaphysical lens. We study the deeper symbolic and spiritual meanings behind sacred teachings, particularly the Bible. Rather than viewing scripture as literal history or a rulebook, we often explore it as allegory, rich with timeless wisdom about consciousness, personal growth, healing, forgiveness, and the human journey.
We view Jesus not as the exclusive gatekeeper to salvation, but as a profound spiritual teacher and way-shower, someone who modeled what is possible when we awaken to our divine nature. His life and teachings inspire us, not because they separate some people from God, but because they point toward the divine potential already present within each of us.
We Believe There Are Many Paths to the Divine
We are deeply interested in interfaith learning and believe wisdom can be found across spiritual traditions. We honor the common threads that connect humanity’s great teachings while remaining rooted in our own spiritual practices and principles.
At the heart of everything we do is the understanding of Oneness.
We are not separate from God, from one another, or from life itself. That truth shapes how we show up in the world and how we build community.
Inclusive Spirituality
Inclusive isn’t a buzzword here; it’s a lived value.
People of all ages, races, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, family structures, backgrounds, and spiritual paths are not merely tolerated or welcomed; they are seen, valued, accepted, and celebrated. You do not need to believe what everyone else believes to belong here.

Spiritual Community
We also believe spirituality is not meant to be lived alone.
Church isn’t just about Sunday morning. It’s about meaningful conversations, authentic relationships, laughter, learning, serving, growing, and supporting one another through life’s joys and challenges.
At Unity North, you’ll find opportunities to connect, learn, grow, and give back.
Our ministries create space for friendship, spiritual exploration, creativity, service, healing, and community engagement. Our children and youth programs provide nurturing environments where young people can explore spirituality, build confidence, ask big questions, and discover their own sacred worth.
We care deeply about outreach, compassion, and making a difference in the world. Spirituality that never leaves the building is incomplete. We seek opportunities to reach hearts, support communities, and put love into action.
And perhaps most importantly, we encourage you to own your life. You are not powerless. You are not broken. You are not waiting for someone outside of yourself to rescue you.
We encourage people to become active participants in their own healing, growth, purpose, and transformation. To take responsibility for their spiritual lives. To trust their inner wisdom. To remember that they have agency, choice, and creative power.
In a sense, we invite you to become your own savior, not through ego or isolation, but through awakening to the Divine presence and possibility already within you.
