As a community we are engaged in an energetic “Shift” into the next chapter of who we are meant to be. In essence, we are manifesting our FATE! We are the creators or our reality, the designers of our lives and the manifestors of our future! Today I want to use the acronym of FATE to illustrate how we are doing this!
Faith! In Hebrews we read, “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” In order for anything to manifest, we must first have faith that it can happen. Without the basic belief in the possibility, we are just spinning our wheels. We manifest our life through faith in the vision of a bright and fulfilling life. We then create our experience by deeply knowing that God, as spiritual law, will always respond. Jesus knew this when he announced, “According to your faith be it done unto you!”
Charles Fillmore writes, “Faith is the perceiving power of the mind linked to our ability to shape substance.” Substance is the formless energy standing underneath all creation and it is waiting for us to form it! Faith gives rise to the substance of God that responds in direct proportion to our ability to see it already done! How that Faith manifests is through prayer, meditation, and action!
Action! Action is how our faith shows up. In the book of James we read, “Faith without works is dead!” We take the energy of our prayers and meditations and then do something. Through our willingness to use our time, talents, treasure and bodies to activate our faith, we become the very portal of creation. In Ecclesiastes 9 we read, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” If a dream is worthy, it is worthy of our efforts, physical works, and teamwork.
Team! There is no such thing as a self-made man or woman. We need each other! A grasshopper seems insignificant as it moves its way across your yard. But when it joins forces with other grasshoppers, the resulting swarm devours everything in its path. In Proverbs, a wise man observed, “The locusts have no king, yet they all advance in ranks.” Together we are stronger. Together we get more done. Together we enthusiastically grow.
Enthusiasm! From Colossians 3:23 we read – “Whatever you do, work at it with your whole heart.” There is possibility in enthusiasm. Enthusiasm comes from the Latin root word “en Theos,” which means “of God!” Charles Fillmore writes, “Zeal is the mighty force that incites the winds, the tides, the storms; it urges the planet on its course, and spurs the ant to greater exertion. It is the urge behind all things. Zeal is the affirmative impulse of existence, and its command is “Go forward!” Your life is worthy of your enthusiasm, your action, your faith and the law responds.
Let us be an enthusiastic team that puts faith into action as we grow into the full realization of our wonderful spiritual community!
