Saturday, June 3 –  9 am to 3 pm in the Joy Room
Saturday, June 17 – 9 am to 3 pm TBA off campus
Facilitated by Jennie Scott, LUT

Many of us were brought up in a theology that taught the religion about Jesus. This class will focus on the actual teachings of Jesus with a lens of the Aramaic mindset that was integral to Jesus’ day. Forget everything you knew and come with an open mind and an open heart!

Our suggested book for this class is Aramaic Light on the Gospel of Matthew by Rocco A. Errico and George Lamsa. However, our class will often be constructed like a Near Eastern schul, with questions and discussion much like Jesus taught. You will need your favorite translation of the Bible too.

Class is $25 register online here. Credit students please see Jennie for additional assignments and fees. Class will decide together where our off-campus location is since the Monks are in residence that Saturday.
