If you would like to see your spirituality deepen and grow, or feel the wonderful energy of Prayer at Unity North Atlanta, then please contact us about attending this semi-annual training.
Even if you never thought you could pray with someone, or in a group, you will be amazed at what you can do through your heart. The training is step-by-step, with a lot of practice and support. Being a Prayer Chaplain is very fulfilling both for the giver and the receiver.
Our Prayer Chaplains hold sacred space during services, pray one on one with others on Sundays (or other times) and participate in special services and events. They lead the Annual Day of Remembrance (for those who have made their transition), World Day of Prayer (our annual 24-hour Prayer Vigil) and the Burning Bowl Service (held December 31st every year).
If you have been a Prayer Chaplain in the past, please think about returning to this ministry. If you are a current Prayer Chaplain, this is one of two training sessions offered each year to help you meet the necessary requirements for continued service.
For more information, please click here.
The training will be held at Unity North on Friday, April 6, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturday, April 7, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
You must be a current Member of Unity North and you must sign up for this training ahead of time. We need to order materials, so please register via email to Diane Glynn (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Kim Grayson (email@example.com) by March 23 if you think you would like to join us. It will be a life-changing experience!
