Since 2001, Lisa Levart has traveled across America creating portraits of women who are part of the rapidly growing Earth-centered, spirituality movement. Using these evocative images, Levart has created a traveling, site-specific, multi-media installation that reveals the vibrant interior lives of her subjects and their personal experience with the divine feminine.  A decade after beginning this work, the visually stunning book of her photographs—Goddess on Earth–was released, winning a Gold Nautilus Book Award whose past winners include Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, and more. By sharing these contemporary re-interpretations of the Goddess, Levart has furthered a deeper mindfulness of “Herstory”, as well as an appreciation for the different traditions that have an impact on our interconnected lives.

Lisa Levart lives in Nyack, New York and is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post. For more information on Lisa Levart, please visit www.GoddessonEarth.com
