Research group B will participate in pretesting and orientation during the week of August 26-31, 2019. Group B will begin the 4-week intervention on October 1, 2019, through October 26, 2019. The Effects of Bio-Intrinsic Transformational Therapy ™ on Depression and Anxiety in Adolescents.
Are you a teenager between the ages of 13 to 18 who is experiencing stressful emotions like irritability, anger, frustration, or sadness? Are you worried and stressed out? Do you feel drained and out of sync? Are you a parent or guardian of a teen who is dealing with these uncomfortable emotions?
If so, I invite you or your teen to join my innovative and groundbreaking research study. It’s called “The Effects of Bio-Intrinsic Transformational Therapy ™ on Depression and Anxiety in Adolescents.” They will learn fun and simple tools that may help. Their participation will help us gain valuable insights into this subject. Participation is completely voluntary, and it is free. There is no cost to join.
What is Bio-Intrinsic Transformational Therapy™? It is an innovative approach to spiritual wellness that incorporates and synthesizes eastern and western thought in Psychology, Medicine, Quantum Physics, Neurotheology, and Mysticism. Bio-Intrinsic Transformational Therapy™ expresses a deep understanding of the individual personality, mind, and spirit; the individual biofield; human consciousness and mystical experience; and vibrational healing approaches. Spiritual wellness produces a state of mind-body-spirit coherence, integration, personal growth, an innate drive towards wholeness, physical and mental health, and overall feelings of well-being.
More Information and Enrollment Forms
Teens who enroll in this study will be randomly assigned to either group A or group B. Robin will inform all participants on their group assignment and session dates on August 23, 2019. All groups sessions will be held in the administration building Youth of Unity classroom. Teens can elect to participate on either Tuesday at 6 pm or Saturday at 1 pm.
All teens enrolled in this study will be required to attend an Orientation Group which will include pre-testing on Tuesday, August 27 at 6:00 pm in the administration building.
- Starting on August 27, group A will participate in sessions either on Tuesday at 6:00 pm or Saturday at 1:00 pm for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Starting on October 1, group B will participate in sessions on Tuesday at 6 pm or Saturday at 1:00 pm for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Post-testing for all A & B groups will take place during the final weeks of September and October.
- Both groups will be completed no later than October 28, 2019.

About Robin Reeves-Oppenheim
Robin Reeves-Oppenheim, LCSW, DCSW, ThD. C. has over thirty-five years of experience. She has strong administrative, consultation, supervisory, and clinical skills. She is owner of Out-of-the Box Solutions, Inc. located in Woodstock, Georgia. She and her clinical staff provide an array of behavioral mental health and substance abuse services to children, adolescents and adults.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and South Carolina, she is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, holds a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and is listed in the National Register of Clinical Social Workers. She is currently a doctoral research candidate at Holos University Graduate Seminary in Spirituality and Holistic Health/Transformational Psychology.
She has an extensive background in clinical issues concerning all aspects of the family life cycle, mental health, issues of divorce, treatment of adolescents, survivors of trauma, eating disorders, women’s issues, individual and family psychotherapy, family violence, conflict resolution, child abuse, substance use disorders, addiction, experiential and expressive therapies, Transpersonal Psychology, Biofield Therapies, Energy Medicine and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
She is a gifted public speaker, consultant, and trainer. She has provided training and consultation services for social workers and other professional healthcare providers locally, nationally, and internationally.
She has been an active member of the National Association of Social Workers since 1983. She served on the NASW Georgia Chapter Board of Directors from 2007-2011. She served on the NASW South Carolina Chapter Board of Directors and was on the Practice Act Task Force, the South Carolina Mental Health Partnership Board of Directors, the South Carolina Emergency Food and Shelter Board of Directors, and the Mid-Carolina Health Literacy Network Steering Committee. She has won many awards including the KOVOD Award for Excellence in Publication. She was voted the 1998 NASW Social Worker of the Year. She was a certified addictions counselor from 1977-1986. She is currently on the Georgia DBHDD Registry for DUI/Substance Abuse evaluators and treatment providers.
She is a trained Reiki Level 3 Master/Teacher, a Certified Distance Counselor, and a Certified Hypnotherapist.
She trained with Dr. Brian Weiss and is certified by the Weiss Institute in Past Life Regression Therapy. She was a guest speaker at the 2nd International Conference on Spirituality and Social Work held at the CSRD – Institute of Social Work and Research in Ahmednagar in January 2013.
